Community Development and Engagement

The University of Illinois Division of Public Safety is committed to building strong, meaningful relationships with the campus and surrounding community. Through a variety of outreach initiatives, partnerships and service opportunities, we strive to foster trust, promote safety and support the well-being of everyone we serve.

Community partnerships

The Division of Public Safety works closely with campus departments, local schools, nonprofit organizations and faith-based groups to support meaningful outreach. Our partnerships also extend to first responders, local business and civic organizations.

These collaborations lead to impactful programs, community events and shared successes, often captured through photos, testimonials and performance highlights.
